Warm-air dryers evaporate water slowly with a heating element, and paper towels dry fast but cost money every day and fill bins. A jet-type dryer does neither. Two blades of air at around 100 metres per second push the water off the hands, so the cycle takes 10 to 12 seconds, the heater is small or absent, and nothing is touched. Seven Infra supplies and installs jet dryers as part of the washroom fit-out on our commercial projects and as a standalone supply for facilities teams replacing older units.

Built for the UAE climate
Washrooms in UAE commercial buildings are air-conditioned but humid, and the units must cope with condensation and frequent cleaning with strong products. We specify sealed motors, corrosion-resistant casings and drip trays that drain rather than hold water. The dust load reaches washrooms through the ventilation, so intake filters are specified and included in the cleaning schedule. Units carry the relevant electrical conformity marks for the UAE and are installed on circuits sized to the inrush current at start-up.

How much energy does a jet dryer use compared with a warm-air dryer?
A jet dryer draws more power while running but runs for a fraction of the time, so a cycle uses around 80 percent less energy than a conventional warm-air dryer. Against paper towels, it removes the purchase, delivery and disposal cost entirely.
Are jet dryers hygienic?
Yes, when specified with HEPA filtration and cleaned on a schedule. The air blown onto the hands is filtered, the user touches nothing, and the drip tray collects water that would otherwise reach the floor.
How loud are they?
Sound levels range from 60 to 85 dB depending on the model. For washrooms near offices or dining rooms we select the quieter models and, where needed, add a short duct to the discharge.
Can you retrofit them into an existing washroom?
